The Addition Of The 3 Missing Arenas? Opinions?
Many of us enjoy the CA and TA everyday, playing through the small collection of arenas, however, after a while many have forgotten there are 3 other Arenas in the game which are not included in the CA or TA Roatation. I am of course talking about the "Yaks Bend", "Ascalon", and "The Academy" arenas (the last of which many have either not seen or have long long forgotten).
How many of you would like to see these Arenas added into the rotation for the CA/TA? After all, they're sitting there only being used by those who pass, and in the case of "The Academy" are often seen once if not at all.
So, Opinions?

Academy can't be one of the arenas cuz it doesn't exist in Tyria after The Searing.
It would be neat to fight in Ascalon and Yak's Bend arenas, but they're also really basic; there's nothing to them.

I wish they would. I don't understand why they wouldn't want more PvP content, especially considering how lacking it is for casual players.

I'd love to see more arenas, especially some with global effects, such as when going to see Glint. Never seen Ascalon arena, or Yaks.

give us Lions...
or....
with spectator mode we can have /dance emote contests for intermissions...
or...
games of strength (minigames like tug of war, or bare-knuckle fights) between warriors
or....
games of skill between monks (best healing?) or necros (most minions?) etc.

I absolutely agree that the Yak's and Ascalon arenas should be part of the rotation in CA and TA. I'm not so sure about the Academy one... it's been a while since I was there, but isn't it kind of small and bare?

Actualy its much larger than the Ascalon one but probably bout the same as yaks, i got lot of shots last time i went through but I lack a host for them. Yeah its pretty bare just couple res spots (its a per kill vs kill team arena), and river to the left, Ascalon to the right I think.

They should add in a dueling system. Players in certain areas, maybe arena lobbies, could fight a 1v1 battle vs. another player right in the town. Faction and XP would be the same and it could also add more PvP content, even to Role Playing characters if Anet allowed a wide range of places to duel.

Why not? They can smite or use a secondary + heal themselves well. Monks should love that.

I think they should bring back the old system of having all of the CA arenas seperated. It was much more fun when you could choose which arena you wanted to go to.

I think the "Lions" idea is great. Could either put a ghost team in or send a lvl 24 mob in every 30 seconds.
Still want a "monkless" arena option also for fast knockdown dragouts. CA sucks when you face a crummy/mediocre team that beats your good team merely because they got a mediocre or better monk and you don't.
Also still want a time limit that could kick in and end the match after 10 minutes once one side is outnumbered 3 or 4-1; would prevent griefer runners and stance griefers.

I wouldn't mind doing the Priest map in CA either.
